The Liebherr SCFfg 4002 is a steel, explosion-proof, dynamic refrigerator and static freezer. SmartFrost reduces ice buildup, making defrosting simple and less frequent. With a 90° opening angle, the automatically closing door stays open for easy loading and unloading. If the door remains open for too long, the LightAlarm alerts you and allows for a quick solution.

This laboratory refrigerator is suitable for professional product storage at temperatures between 3°C and 16°C in the refrigerator compartment and between -9°C and -30°C in the freezer compartment. Typical products to be stored include research samples, reagents, laboratory equipment, etc. The appliance complies with DIN 13277 regulations for refrigerated and frozen storage equipment for laboratory and medical applications.

When storing valuable or temperature-sensitive substances or products, an independent, continuously monitored alarm system is required. This alarm system must be designed so that any alarm condition is immediately registered by a responsible person,who can then take appropriate action.

The appliance's interior temperature isset to the required +5°C by default and can be adjusted. The minimum permissible room temperature at the installation site is 10°C.
